Business Development Manager
- £38,700 per year
- Full-time, permanent · 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday
- Leyton E10, with client visits across London
We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to grow our commercial client base and win new installation, servicing and maintenance contracts. You’ll report to the directors.
What you'll do
- Find and develop new business opportunities for our commercial boiler, heating and plumbing services
- Build relationships with commercial landlords, property managers, developers and facilities managers
- Research the market and identify where we can expand our commercial services
- Manage opportunities from first contact through to proposals and contract discussions
- Prepare commercial proposals and help with pricing for installation, servicing and maintenance contracts
- Negotiate commercial terms with clients, together with the directors
- Manage key commercial accounts and find opportunities for renewals and additional work
- Track sales performance, contract values and projected revenue, and report to the directors
What we're looking for
- A degree in business, finance or a related subject
- Strong commercial awareness, and confidence with pricing, proposals and negotiation
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Experience in business development, sales or account management is an advantage
Plumbing, Heating and Ventilation Installer
- £40,640 per year
- Full-time, permanent · 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
- Based in Leyton E10, working on jobs across London
We’re looking for a plumbing and heating installer to join our team on domestic and commercial jobs across London.
What you'll do
- Install and connect pipework, fittings and fixtures for plumbing and central heating systems
- Install, repair and replace radiators, valves, pumps, hot water cylinders and other heating components
- Install and repair ventilation equipment such as extractor fans and ducting
- Diagnose and fix faults in plumbing, heating and ventilation systems
- Carry out planned maintenance, inspections and testing
- Work alongside our Gas Safe registered engineers, electricians and other trades
What we're looking for
- Experience installing and repairing plumbing and heating systems
- Knowledge of the Water Regulations, Building Regulations and health and safety on site
- A reliable, tidy and customer-friendly approach to work in people's homes and businesses
- A plumbing or heating qualification (such as an NVQ, or an equivalent overseas qualification) and a driving licence are an advantage
