Here we answer some of our most asked questions from our clients.

General Questions

We are based in Chingford and most of our work is in North and East London. We cover the majority of London and part of southwest Essex. Bear in mind, this can be flexible depending on the nature of the job.

We try our best to lower the costs for our customers as much as we can and provide free quotes where we can but this might not always be the case and jobs that are further away or in a busy period might be subject to a call out.

We make great use of the technologies available to us like WhatsApp where we can get most of the information we need to quote over pictures, which in most cases is enough to offer a quote.

If you have received an invoice from us, all the bank details are provided at the bottom of the invoice. Please reference the invoice number (e.g. INV1234) on the payment to prevent any confusion.

We prefer most payments to be made this way through a bank transfer but we also have a card machine on board and accept cash.

Services Info

Our gas engineers are highly qualified and have many years in the business and are able to work on every boiler of any age from combination (combi) boilers, to system and electric boilers.

Yes, absolutely. If you have a system boiler with a separate cylinder, usually they need to be both looked at when doing a service or repair. Some of the types of cylinders you may have include: direct and indirect cylinders vented, unvented pressurised cylinders.

Yes, we do repair such as leaks, overflows and ball valves on cold water storage tanks

Thermostatic shower valves, basin and kitchen taps.

Radiators, electric radiators and all other essential heating (this includes radiator thermostatic lockshield valves).

Our engineers are experts in installing and repairing the electrics and wiring of a boiler and all its controls including thermostats.

Emergency Questions

We operate 24 hours 7 days a week to make sure our customers never lose hot water or heating.

Emergency call outs will cost additionally as they will require an on-call engineer to visit out of hours.

We understand emergencies happen and sometimes it cannot wait they need to be dealt with as soon as possible but we would always recommend for jobs that can wait, to be booked the next working day, as it would be more cost-effective for you.

Yes, we do.

Our phone lines all divert to an emergency line after our standard operating hours finish.

If you call please be patient as the operator could be busy but they will definitely call you back.
